It's Tuesday night and we're ready to head out on a ride. This is a no drop ride. We will ride as a group to Leader's Park to do some laps. At Leader's Park we usually break up into some other groups. After a few laps we all return to the store together. Total ride is somewhere between 8 and 15 miles. If the trails are muddy we will likely stick to the bike trail. If weather conditions don't allow a ride to Leader's Park....we will head to other areas of town. As the temps drop and the snow falls we will more than likely stay away from Leader's Park. We will be riding at night in the Spring Fall and Winter. Bring your lights if you have them. We do have some Light and Motion lights you can try out. After the ride we will return to Spoke-N-Sport and spark up the grill for some brats. If there's something else you want to grill...feel free to bring it. Bring a beer to trade and one (or two) to drink. Be sure to check out all of our events at www.spoke-n-sport.com/to/calendar.

Join Indievents and Club David, Wednesday, October 18, for the South Dakota Premiere of 3 DEAD TRICK OR TREATERS. In keeping with the original intent of Indievents, we are very honored to have been asked to host a screening of 3 DEAD TRICK OR TREATERS. The film is the feature film debut of writer, director, editor Torin Langen. Torin directed a segment in the anthology film, LATE NIGHT DOUBLE FEATURE, which indievents screened last year. The film won an award for best music score at the Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival. After stumbling upon the graves of three murdered trick or treaters, a small town paperboy discovers a series of handwritten horror stories tacked to the children's headstones. Penned by a deranged pulp author driven mad by his craft, the stories chronicle grisly tales of Halloween rites, rituals and traditions. Absent of dialogue and heavy on atmosphere, 3 DEAD TRICK OR TREATERS is a horror anthology unlike any you've seen before. Director's Statement: 3 DEAD TRICK OR TREATERS is a fusion of mood-driven experimental filmmaking and kitsch Halloween imagery. In whole, the project is an expression of isolation and the anxiety that comes with it; characters struggling with morality under horrifying circumstances. This is merged with a love for dime store monster masks, silent storytelling and underground music. Following the screening writer, director, editor Torin Langen will participate in a live audience Q and A via Skype. You can watch a trailer for the film here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1J0mzJ3PKY The screening will be at 7 PM and 9:30 pm at Club David. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets at Club David, Zandbroz, or online here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/3-dead-trick-or-treaters-movie-screening-south-dakota-premiere-tickets-36727738655 We look forward to seeing everyone there!
